Lloyd Clive CFPIM

Lloyd Clive is a graduate of the University of Windsor and a Professional Engineer (Industrial) His work experience includes CP Rail in work planning systems, 3M in Industrial Engineering and Ethicon Sutures Ltd as Maintenance Supervisor and Materials Manager. He has recently retired as a professor and the Coordinator of Materials Management and Distribution at Fleming College, Peterborough, Ontario. He has made many presentations to industry and at various events in Canada, the United States and Jamaica. He has written training materials for APICS and is co-author of the text Introduction to Materials Management by Arnold, Chapman and Clive. He continues his work with APICS as Chairman of the Products and Services Subcommittee and holds the position of Student Liaison for the APICS Canadian District. Lloyd will be speaking on the history and development of the book Introduction to Materials Management. He will welcome comments from the audience about new content or updating current content. He will also talk about how to apply the basic concepts of Operations Management to actual industrial situations.
