Innovation - APICS Ontario Grand Valley Regional conference - provides value to its attendees, bringing together industry specialists who will share their unique talents, skills and experience.

There are a number of costs associated with staging a conference of this caliber. Sponsorships help us ensure that we can provide a top-quality conference at the lowest possible cost to attendees.

The proceeds of the 2010 conference will be used to create the Innovation Fund and will go toward covering the planning costs for the 2011 conference.

Sponsorship Opportunities

 

Become a bronze, silver or gold sponsor!

 

Bronze

Bronze sponsors have contributed up to $1,000 to Innovation. Bronze sponsors are recognized in the conference program and on a Sponsors' sign at the conference.

Opportunities:

• Innovation Fund Donation (up to $1,000)
• Presentation room ($300)
• Name tags ($200)
• Program printing ($750)
• Speaker gifts ($500)

 

Silver

Silver sponsors have contributed up to $4,500 to Innovation. In addition to Bronze recognition, silver sponsors are offered a complimentary booth in the Vendor Exposition and a half-page in the conference program.

Opportunities:

• Innovation Fund Donation (up to $5,000)
• Morning or afternoon break ($800)
• Conference tote bags ($1,000)
• Lunch ($3,000)
• Student conference fee Subsidy ($2,000)

 

Gold

Gold sponsors have contributed $5,000 or more to Innovation. In addition to bronze recognition, gold sponsors are offered a complimentary booth in the Vendor Exposition and a full-page in the conference program. In addition, an individual easel-sized sign will be prominently displayed at the sponsored event.

The Innovation Fund

 

An APICS certification - CPIM, CSCP - is recognized throughout our industry and are competitive advantages in today's job market. Full-time college students in the Materials and Operations Management program will graduate with a wealth of knowledge. It is a small step for them to apply this knowledge towards obtaining their APICS certifications. Our chapter feels that we can help.

We are proud to announce the establishment of the Innovation Fund. Some of the proceeds from the Innovation conference will be set aside to assist full-time college students in obtaining their APICS certifications before graduation.

Funds will cover successful examination reimbursement, as well as the creation and delivery of preparatory workshops that will eliminate timing and curriculum differences for each APICS exam. At the beginning of each year (September), the Innovation Fund will announce what workshops are being prepared and delivered, and how many successful examinations can be reimbursed. This will be directly related to the money that we can set aside for this fund each year.
